The development seamlessly integrates Linzi’s local historical and cultural context with the profound cultural legacy of Duke Tai Gong, while harmonizing with the natural beauty of the lakeside landscape. It brings together regional specialties, trendy casual dining and lifestyle concepts, and a diverse array of leisure experiences, balancing cultural depth, vibrant street life, and picturesque waterfront views to create an urban leisure and cultural tourism district that embodies both local character and dynamic recreational energy.
The Zitongshan Project in Linzi leverages the natural mountain and forest setting to create a diverse, multi-functional leisure space. The trendy food street on the lower level features vibrantly colored container structures arranged in a staggered, waterfront layout, blending contemporary style with a lively, local atmosphere. Meanwhile, the wellness center in the upper-left corner is designed as a serene courtyard complex, seamlessly integrating principles of nature-based health and well-being. The overall design strikes a balance between leisure consumption and wellness experiences, harmonizing with the park’s ecological environment to forge a new cultural-tourism destination that combines gourmet dining, relaxation, and holistic health.
The container-based commercial facilities at Weihai Rushan’s Joy Sports Stadium are designed around a “vibrant sports theme,” featuring a bold color scheme of red, white, and yellow that creates crisp, dynamic lines perfectly in tune with the energetic spirit of athletic settings. The architecture incorporates staggered terraces to expand leisure spaces, seamlessly connecting with basketball courts and other sports venues to create a multifunctional “sports + leisure” environment. Infused with the vibrant essence of a coastal city, these facilities combine sports nutrition, relaxation, and social interaction, establishing a trendy new sports landmark where Rushan residents can engage in fitness, enjoy leisure activities, and gather with friends.

Employing a fresh, elegant color palette, the design showcases a youthful, modern nightscape bazaar. By seamlessly blending street culture with cutting-edge, contemporary trends, it has emerged as a distinctive new cultural hub along the coast of Rushan. Drawing on Weihai’s iconic cultural symbols and reinterpreting them in a modern style, the project creates a chic, Eastern-inspired urban commercial district.
